Today's Helpful Hints:
Health and Beauty with Coca-Cola
 
 
Tan Lotion: Apply plain Coca-Cola to the skin and sit out in the sun or on a tanning bed. Note: do not use diet coke, cherry coke or generic.
 
Beautiful Separated Curls: Pour a can of flat Coca-Cola onto long hair and leave it in for a few minutes. Rinse.
 
Too dark hair dye job: Pour a bottle of Diet Coca-Cola through your hair to lighten or fade hair that has been dyed too dark. Do not use regular Coca-Cola.
 
Silky Legs: Mix regular Coca-Cola with unscented lotion. Apply mixture to your legs.
 
Common Cold: To a saucepan, the contents of one can of Coca-Cola and some fresh ginger. Let it come to a boil and then cook on a low heat for a few minutes. Drink while warm.
 
Congestion:  Drink a glass of HOT Coca-Cola before going to bed.
 
Nauseated? Open a can of Coca-Cola and let it stand until the carbonation goes away.  Take a teaspoon every hour.
 
Constipation:  In the blender, mix  1-3 tablespoons of caster oil or mineral oil with a cup of Coca-Cola. (Tastes like cream soda!) This remedy is for occasional use only. Do not use if you are pregnant without consulting your doctor!

Ha, I do dislike the taste of colas blech, but, I use them medicinally sometimes.   I hadn't heard of it in hair!  I do know it'll rot teeth!  (Okay, so that was a 6th grade science experiment.  Of someone else's.  Still grossed me out enough, that I remember it, lol.)  -- Robin
